In other words, if I bot for 6 or 7 hours on one toon, then switch to another toon and bot 6-7 hours on him, will it raise flags the same as botting 12-14 hours on one toon?

Its truly impossible to say. I ran one character 14 to 16h a day. I was making a killing but got ban after a year. I don't think it was from the hours or the gold but the lame bot. Never use wowM.i.m.i.c kids. I think I had over 275Days of game time on one character in 1 year, 95% of that was botting.

On a side not, I have been ban with HB, GB, aio and pirox, ranging from 72h ban to permo bans. I recommend JujuBosc out of process bot, one of the safest bots on the market.
