[Wine] Noaddiction + Wine

Long time user of Chaotic's NoAddiction, back when I was oblivious to this wonderful operating system of GNU/Linux. Now I'm attempting to use NA with Wine and I'm now stuck

-Installed and ran WoW successfully
-Downloaded and properly configured config.ini
-Set NA to be launched using windows 98 (Since it crashes without showing GUI on anything other then 95/9
-GUI would work, but WoW would crash after activating the hack
- Set WoW.exe to use 98
-WoW would be present in processes but never pops up
OR
- Wow crashes with the following:
RAW OUTPUT sXPFAEzW
(Notice I changed the name of the original Wow.exe into Woworig.exe and NA launcher to WoW.exe in hopes of getting it to work, nothing changed)
I'm stuck at this moment, and have done quite alot of research to no avail (or just looked in the wrong places)

Lol Windows 98 ? IS your computer that bad ? Or is it becouse of the Linux Version you are running ?


I think WOW crashes since WOTLK Supports only XP +

My computer is far superior
Wine lets you run the application in all Windows versions, and only running NA in 98/95 yields a GUI.

Edit: My linux kernal is 2.6.31-14-generic, althought its clear you dont know a thing about linux

Lordoflines,

WoWInfinity does pretty much the very same thing, however it doesn't even run. The reason for this is that the hack has protection, through which it must inject into the kernel and use hiding functions and what not.

Seeing as how Wine is only an application LAYER ontop of Linux kernel, it gives no write access or emulation to any sort of kernel, thus why Wine Is Not An Emulator.

Got a tad further now since .NET 4 removal, doesnt need to be set to Windows 98 now, still crashes though naturally. Gunna continue running through any settings i can and pray it works
