That's a pretty broad statement lol. Of course anyone can do anything, but it's always nice to see someone take time to share their experiences. Especially with botting, since depending on the circumstances, can be risky.

great guide so far, don't stop updating! I'm OB'ing a druid myself and was just wondering if the routine defaults the druid to grind in bear mode all the time. I assume your using the most popular routine on the druid forums? (forgot the name). I would have thought it would switch to kitty form after a certain level =T

Just an update to this guide, The author currently can't get access to this forum therefore the reason for lack of update.


Also Elky you may want to recheck the Ritz druid routine, i've just posted some stuff on there that might tweak some bugs (My names Mooky on there)

BTW. Updated. I'll take a brake for a day or two to get some money on my main. I'm currently level 50 on the druid. Removed my openbot folder due lag. I had SOOO much mappings.

Mapping lags common, i can sugest 2things.

1) Remove all laggin setup OB and set up the Autologin then add all your maps again load it while waiting do whatever you want, when you D/C from mass map loading it will reconnect you therefore you can go ahead and bot.
Or

2) (This is what i do) Make a map store folder put all your maps in there then just pull the current lvling zone and the next lvling zone over into your main map folder. it will load much faster and also Turn off mapping therefore not creating anymore mapping so the file size stays the same.

um.. there is a repair in shimmering flats, in the Goblin's area just by the building.

Also a drink vendor walks around, but you can easily just run an automapper so Openbot can always find him. OR pre-buy all your drinks/food.

suicidity, have you got a working code for auto mapper? I tried the one in the thread, did not work. But thanks for the tip. When I was there, I could not find any repair or anything. Might be reputation based.

Automappers = Over rated imho.

Why?
1) Take too much mem
2) If an objects in the way it won't create mapping behind it
3) It can lead to the bot taking some well wierd paths.

I know manual mapping takes time, but time invested is worth while. I don't do major mapping all i do is

1) Path GY's
2) Path closest town
3) Run to grind spot dump H/S and repeat

You may say, ' I keep gettin not enuff data' Well this is only to the paths of the town GY and to your hotspots, So do the above steps again and then your pathing is complete with a small map file and much more mem for the bot to use.

Don't worry about the Hotspot pathing cos as your fighting the bot will make its own pathing around the H/S depending on your Grind range. I find this best to run a Caster first on newly created maps as then they can kill at range and create new pathing as they grab the loot, then they pull from there creating the whole process alover again creating more mapping

I find this way gives me good clean maps with near enuff no stuck routes, specially with the new OB 2.6 Stuck handling

Its worth investing the time to do your own mapping

Don't forget to map quite areas, since your druid i advice taking melee toons out if your using catform but it don't overally matter with Druids xD
