Openbot Versus Glider Test Diary

Is that just something you say to be smart or what.... with 2 huge ban waves last year, IN A ROW - that almost set OB back to ground zero, how can you say that glider is not nearly as secure as OB.

That you cant manage to make glider do as much xp/hr as OB is your lag of knolege about the bot.

I have been using both bots for some time, mostly glider coz i have 2 years expirience with it.

I find them both good in each there way... OB looks very much like a human with trading, traning and switching to new grind spots if being followed, but often i also find the xp/hr frustreting in OB, coz each 2 lvl it is going to trainer by flightpath, but cant take the flightpath back again, so there goes 30 min with running back to the profile.

While glider looks like a bot (in most cases) but it gets the job done fast and with high xp/hr coz it is not wondering of suddenly to train and switch profiles and so...

Overall 2 great bot's!

Your not a very good glider if it takes you more then one day to get past level 8. I dont think you should be the one conducting these experiments lol -_-

Yeah sorry bout not doing it lately. Somehow I lost all of my OB maps.
Working one day, did NOTHING, wouldnt work the next.

I use glider and in one day I got to 16, w/o beating a quest. I got to level 26 the next day also.

Yea, OB may have a couple features over Glider but in all reality it doesn't add up to anything. Whilst leveling, if you can kill what you're killing - you can kill what you're killing through your next skill leveling, so the bot running to town is completely not necessary, et cetera, et cetera. I'm not going to just run on and on about OB's features compared to Glider, but it does all boil down to your preference. I personally will use Glider until it gets me banned, it's simple and it gets the job done. Yea, it's pretty blatant to anyone who has half a brain when someone is using Glider, but I'm sure it's not too much better with ANY bot. Glider is 45% profile dependent, 40% user dependent and 15% computer dependent (from what I can tell). With a bad profile, glider will suck. With a good profile but a.. not so much stupid, but maybe silly, user it will suck. If you use glider, get used to it, get some good profiles going and let it do it's thing, it'll run like a dream. I don't know how it works with openbot, but I'm pretty sure you can't just walk into it and expect it to work wonders right out of the box.

Frankly, I think for this to work and give ACCURATE results, you'd need to either:
A) Be good at using both Glider and OB and be completely unbiased.
or
B) Get TWO different people, one person who likes (and is good at using) Glider, and the same for OB, set them up to glider and let them do their thing.

Other than that, there's a slim to none chance of the results being remotely accurate. Frankly, if you can't get a level in a day with glider YOU'RE doing something wrong.
(Besides that, 212 stucks with OB? Wth? How did it get stuck TWO HUNDRED TIMES and still manage to kill.. uhh.. anything?)
