well.. it automates decisions for you.

    'Smart aoe", things like that.

But honestly, you can logically do the same things without that, just use a custom toggle, and make a macro ingame for that toggle (or click it) theres times when you DONT want it to cleave, yet the smart cleave will.

Example, HM Imp, the little aberations, you dont want to burst them all down instantly, or death will ensure, if you have smart AoE, itll just cleave for you. Where as with a toggle, you can use a keybind to toggle on/off if you want to cleave or not.

Boom, just saved a monthly fee!

Plus I like to have more control over my rotation.

and before you say you can toggle smart cleave on/off.... whats the point then, your still using a toggle, might as well stick with a non-smart cleave on/off, functions the same without a monthly cost

i noticed that other fellar asked, and dont think anyone replied... since im curious as well...

when using a rotation that doesnt come with PE, does it need to be put in the respective rotations folder INSIDE the PE folder? Or just in interface/addons itself?

Does it matter? If not i'll go for the former since im anal/ocd and like things clean/organized etc.

    thanks!

Depends. kind of. So, you need multiple files for a CR to be recognized in game.
a .toc file in the base PE folder identifies the paths for all the .LUA files (the rotation code) in the rotations / class folder.
So, you can add a CR into the base PE folder if you manipulate the .toc file to include that new routine.

Mos of other ppl's CRs come packed stand alone, though. So their folder (routines) will be a separate folder from the base PE folder, just as if it were another addon.
You will just install their pack (as if it were it's own addon) along with the base PE addon, and then you should be able to see the pack's CRs are an option under the PE bar.

Mac's Routines is a folder. name it w/e you want (most name them Probably_name) w/e the name of that folder.
It has to be separate from the Probably folder (Which will be named Probably) in your addons folder.

    Addons folder:
    Code:
    Auctioneer
    Gatherer
    Probably
    Probably_MacksCRs
    etc
    etc

All AddOn Folders have to have the same name as the name of the toc file located within the directory. Thus for Mac's CR's it should be:

    Probably_MacksCRs

    because of "Probably_MacksCRs.toc".

You should have the Probably addon folder and Probably_MacksCRs folder.
