The new one doesnt work I press F5 and the cursor just moves left to right - No Bobber appears at all. I have tried a few times still no Bobber!

Any ideas?

UPDATE : so last night after i wrote the comment, i did some testing and tweaking of the settings and got it to 99.99% success rate(missed 1 or 2 of 1000 casts).
So great job with the last release bro. However i would like to ask how you do the splash detection ?
The reason i ask is, i think this might be why it did instantly right click after finding bobber. With all the testing i did yesterday it seems to be when it is to dark that it detects the splash early, like at night times when lighting is lower.
i will do some more testing with the new settings tonight when it changes to low lighting again and return with the results.

Im still having trouble with the bot waiting for the splash animation, the first bot worked like 60% of the time for me this version it keeps insta clicking the dobber nomatter where I fish, or the what the splash offset is. any tips on how i can fix this?
Edit: found out what I was doing wrong works really well

Just wanted to let you know, bot worked for me 100% without any failures. Used in Dalaran to fish the sunken mana for the mount. Thanks for working on that bot !

Hi! I just want to thank you, the bot works pretty well!

One thing you could maybe add is an option to write the log that you can see in the UI to a file in the folder (with timestamps), this could help see issues and what happened or when did the bot stop etc...

Since I will be releasing many updates in the coming days so would I rather hear about your feature requests.

I cannot help you set all settings at this stage as no setting is the most optimal. I would therefore appreciate if those who do get the bot to work to help those who dont with their settings.
Tool tips that explain the settings will be added at a later stage.

Hi, back after a few year break from wow so i came looking for fishing bot.
I tested your bot real quick and it kinda works after tweaking the settings.
the problem however is that as soon as it finds the bobber, it click to loot.
it does not wait for the splash. I have tested a bit and it waits for the delay timer.

i have 4k screen and wow windowed 2415x1299 with the bobber that changes to a hook, if it is of any help to you.

4K screens are tricky since I dont have one to debug on. Everything related to the screen is % based though so there shouldnt actually be a problem.
If I had to guess it would be that you need a quite large splash offset number since you have a lot more pixels to work with. Id still begin with 1, 2, 3 and so on.
Sometimes youre just unlucky

when it works properly the cursor finds bobber moves left then right then up stopping at the top of bobber, when it doesnt work it moves left and off the bobber

Yea, the bobber isnt a perfect square sadly so the detection can go off in shitty manner if you hit the bobber wrong. Perhaps you will have more luck with the other scan modes when I implement them

Breathe my man! If you got a bobber on the last version but not this one you probably forgot to set a hotkey. Also dont forget to actually put your fishing skill on said hotkey.

Also doesnt matter if its dark/light. Its all cursor events !

when i press key 1 without the bot the alt casts the rod bobber etc. All good!
So I start the bot with new version and set 1 as the hot key to fish Nothing happnens it just scans no Bobber - what am i doing wrong?

Auto focus WoW enabled? Other than that, no clue. Might implement a secondary key simulation option if more have this problem.
To be on the safe side, put fishing skill on 2 as well, maybe it bugged when picking out hotkeys.

edit: it should be enabled btw unless you focus wow yourself

edit 2: You can try this:

1. Open notepad
2. In bot settings, disable auto focus wow, save
3. Select notepad so you can type there, start the bot with F5.

You should then see if the bot presses 1 or not since it would be typing "1" into notepad.

If I disable "Auto focus WOW" am I able to run the bot on another computer?
Like bot runs at PC1 and wow at PC2, now im gonna screenshare PC2 on PC1 with teamviewer, splashtop or something else.

This would decrease the chance of getting banned by warden or kills this chance entirely. You might could implement such feature, if this doesnt work.

Hi

So got it to work but...

It casts the bobber and scans for it. When the hook detects the bobber it moves to the top and slips off everytime. After 5 casts it closes down.


Any ideas

Bot was working perfectly for me before, 4+ FPM.

However now for some reason the bot does nothing while WoW is the focus, and when i tab out of wow it starts scanning. However since wow isn't the focus it can't cast the line.

Have tried changing always on top / auto focus.
