I am impressed with your setup, Very nice! It was great to see a Mythic raiding setup. I am curious how you managed to get banned though ?

Chimpeon is just a sender, just Windows messages. It doesn't know or care about what it is sending to which makes me wonder how you got caught.

What did Blizz say ?

I have been using Chimpeon for years now, before it was even released. The first version (June 2014) just spammed keys I wanted. I used that version for quite some time until I decided to write something that other people and games may be able to use. In the early days I spent literally months in Krasserang auto. killing (all night and all day) and have never even been accused of cheating.

Of course if you are as blatant as I have been then you stand a very good chance of getting caught but I never have, not yet anyways.

I guess Blizz could have implemented some sort of mechanism to monitor key presses and their frequency but if that was the case I would have been banned along time ago. I don't play WOW without Chimpeon anymore, I have got lazy I guess.

As far as I am aware Blizz is not allowed to scan your PC, and whilst key monitoring by Blizz may be possible it seems unlikely because I have been using Chimpeon longer than anybody on the planet. Unless you have been totally obvious which is probably unlikely then I suspect you were simply reported, perhaps even by somebody that knew you were using it.

I am sorry you got banned especially with your excellent setup. Was the ban permanent ?

FYI, the SSL cert? A new one has been purchased but my ISP has to do something with it and since it's the weekend it may not be fixed till Monday. I never got a notification from them either.

Nobody was banned except one person. No information in this thread and other channels.I have not heard anything about mass bans for using autoclickers since 2005 and people used them long before HB, FH and even Glider. Don't use it in pvp with instant interrupt, because you will get reported soon or later, don't use boost services and you will be ok.

In what way are you blatant? The only thing I can think of would be PvP.

I used to auto. kill in Krassarang. I had a macro to select a target and used to sit at sentinel base camp and kill the mobs that appeared. They spawned very quickly, almost instant. I used to make allot of gold that way. I don't do it anymore because I have better ways but I used to leave my hunter playing 24 hours a day.

PVP ? I never thought that was any more dangerous than PVE, I am no PVP player (I always die) but I still love to play Alterac Valley and still do using Chimpeon.

The Chimpeon Help has been updated to include new features such as Stay On Top, Duplicate Group/Action, new Key/Button values (Status Hot Key, Always, No Key and Reset Loop), applying a sound file to a Status Hot Key and specifying -1 as a value for X Y mouse click coordinates.

It was definitely the PVP auto-kick and reported by a player. Multiple pixel and click bots have players banned only when they auto-kick in PVP.
