How safe is gliding? and how to keep it safe (a little guide)

hey everyone,

just typing this out of pure boredom and to clear gliders name (at least a little) you see glider is actually very safe in retrospect. seeing as i glided a 60, and four 40's so far. and i never even got reported for botting. really im not a pro at 1337 scripting PONZER. or anything along those lines. I believe in this simple equation
Glider+common sense=Success

you gotta be really obvious to get Banned, but now, some easy tips and guide lines

1. Keep on SHADOW MODE!!!
2. not too many rezze's, set it at 30 at most. (thats where mine is)
3. Have a auto responser on, easily obtained mod
4. dont go around yelling your botting...ive seen it before...
5. NEVER and i mean NEVER! say bot, glider, glider, or anything along those lines...just use a relative term with your friends that you have agreed upon, such as, "Hey Timmy, i cant talk im GRINDING" (avoid caps ftl..)

theres a billion more but really the best tip is to use common sense, really. if you dont have that, then you have an IQ of about 17, and i really question if you purchased the glider, or a box of old dental books.

You can find one on the glider forums. I personally use the one programmed around ALICE the artificial intelligence script.

i never used the program or anything, just have a stupid question... If shadow mode is a must for staying undetected, then why is there the possibility to disable it and aint it "on" all the time?

Shadow mode involves embedding what's known as a "rootkit" into your computer as the program runs; many anti-virus programs pick it up as a virus threat and immediately delete it, making glider unable to run as long as the shadow mode option is selected or the virus program remains active.

A simple configuration of one's anti-virus/firewall will fix the problem, the gliding support page has a guide to help you with it I believe.

If you're smart about it like this post entails, I'd say it's about 95% that you won't get caught, as Blizzard to date has no means of searching for it, being that it isn't an injected bot (some friends of mine have been gliding for a long time now.) The only 5% is most likely due to an occasional error in the glider scripting, but most of the time if things go wrong, glider will exit the game for you.
