Yea sorry, did not mention I was only fishing on darkmoon. Auto loot was enabled so not sure if your bot has to do something special if you are in darkmoon isle.

I was having the same problems, however going into your graphical settings -> Advanced and swapping to DirectX 9 rather than 11. Click Apply then Okay then Exit the game via the menu and restart.
This fixed it, hope it does for you

Not the same problem since this program can't even start if you're running dx11.

I had the same issue but on a whim, I left the safety of the "sanctuary" part of the Darkmoon Island and went around to the side (or further out to sea) where it was contested territory, and it looted the bobber. But going back to the dock in the santuary (designated by the light blue name on the mini map) it didn't loot the bobber anymore.

This is really wierd :S Just turned on the computer and set my toon to fish in dala for the rat in the sewers but its just casting , and randomly trying to loot. not even following the bobber at all. And im the only one standing here fishing atm, so its not because its reacting to someone else's bobber. I dont know if that would have any effect at all though but worth mentioning I guess. (Yes I got directx 9 and net fw4 and autoloot on.)

Yeah i know about this looting problem and i have no ****ing idea of what the problem is, the bot can't get the bobber guid but don't knwo why. I'll take a look later, i have some real worl to do ;p

Gr8 bot and after 10 mins of using it, i think i can tell ya whats wrong.

Boot got way too low time between loot and using fishing abylity. Its like he want to do 2 things at a same time, and thats why he cast fishing before he can loot anything.
Also he tray to cast fishing copple of times, "Ability is not ready yet" starting to be annoying :P

Loving iFish since pirox died. Though I have had some similar issues to the ones reported here with the casting attempts or looting happening too rapidly and not happening and with the latest version it often needs to be restarted as it casts over and over forever untill restated, Other than these ocassional issues i love the program van, keep up the good work, i suggest adding a latency meter / adjuster for the cast and looting speed. Keep up the new releases and screw warden! <3

Probably my multihack if you're using both programs.

I'm planning to rewrite ifish, but my computer kind of crashed and i'm really too lazy to do something atm.

Casting method have not changed since old builds, you're doing something wrong, i guess.

If a casting method has not changed, something else has changed imo.

I have two ifish versions right now on my box - one from the middle of december and the most recent one.

The older one works like charm, the newer doesn't.

I tried to compare the config files, and the only difference I see is that newer config has one additional space after fishing skill name and 4 spaces after the lure name. When I try to remove the spaces manually, the lure name just disappears from the config after the newer ifish start, and it still doesn't work.

I also tried to just copy the old config over to the new ifish - same symptoms - after the new ifish start the lure name disappears, ifish still doesn't cast or use lure.

I'm more or less happy with using the old version but what i'm really missing is d/c on full bags which is unavailable in the older one.

I'd be glad to help with testing etc to have it fixed.

OOOOH I love this bot, it means I can sit and watch movies without having to god damned click at the time, and it's free, and I simply just love you for giving us the bot <3 +rep

EDIT:

After using it for 10 days, i've experienced that it is the most unstable piece of software i've installed on my computer, next to NoggIt. it crashes with errors saying "ReadUnt" and only works 20% of the attempts that i've made. which now is rougly over 50.
