WoW BG bot: Moxzbot (timed macro input with a basic GUI)

Well, when I click the start button it says its running, but nothing is happening?? There is a number up in the top left corner yes.. The macros are set right.. (I have put them in the right side number 1 action bars, but does that change anything??) It shows only one process ID? And Im using 32 bit.. I believe that I have set it up properly, but it still does not work? I have followed your manual to the last letter?? :P

sounds like a macro/keybind issue.

open up your chat while it's running, it should input the keys into your chat box (if you're still using default keybinds, you'll only see "hh")

im not sure i quit understand ur macros i mean the first one u put up works it enters me in battlegrounds and when the countdown gets to 0 it does not follow anyone but when i die it does. also what keybinds am i supposed to be using for this?

I've been suspended multiple times, and I'm sure a lot of people have as well.

just depends how often your battlegroup is reporting AFKers.

some people never get suspended.

I just downloaded it and it said it had a trojan and a "worm" scanned on www.virustotal.com

flagged as a worm because it creates a .ini file to database your settings.
no idea why it'd be flagged as a trojan... but as you can see from the comments, it's clearly not.

You should release the code for this, but if you don't... You should at least fix the issue where when I click pause, any timers that are already set to go off will go off after I click pause... It doesn't disable them. Rather annoying when I'm flying to buy gear and it casts my anti-afk stuff! lol

You COULD be banned perm for this, but most people only get a 3 day suspension for being excessively AFK in BG's.

Blizzard is pretty lax on perm banning people in this game (and who blames them... monthly fee and all) so it is pretty safe.

I've been running it for a few days now, got a full season 11 honor set in that time during AV weekend.

I honestly don't recommend using follow or anything like that with this script. it would be great if the program could be a little smarter than it is, blindly pressing the same two macros all the time is kind of lame. Using follow is a dead give away that you are botting, and most people are more likely to report you if they see you out around following someone as apposed to just standing still in the starting area/gy. I mean the thing is smart enough to read the memory of the honor frame (or however it does it, but it has to be memory reading since resolution doesn't matter) but you just blindly press macros? Seems like someone found some smart code and added some of their own code to make the bot.

and I'm not sure, but can blizzard see the fact that you are blindly trying to queue every ~30 seconds? Even when queued or in a BG, still trying to queue the whole time. If that sends any sort of packet to the server (ie, isn't handled client side) then we are in for some bans.

would require memory reading to make it more advanced, and that's not something I plan on implementing. There are better bots you can use if you're willing to risk it.

found smart code? it's just a simple macro loop with a GUI, When I first made this it was just looping through inputting keys, I've improved it a little for the ease of others, I was fine with the old method.

Well it probably sends packets, idk how else they would check if you're actually in the queue for a BG, but that's why I added the randomized delay. I don't think blizzard checks for this anyways, the only reason I've ever been banned is because I've been reported AFK too many times simultaneously. Pretty sure everyone else has had it the same way.

It's coded with autoit, and I have no idea how to interrupt the "sleep" command while it's waiting.
I don't play the game, and I haven't really tested this since the 2.0 release where I completely revamped it. So any other questions/comments on how it's working (hopefully correctly) would be greatly appreciated. ^_^

Would it be possible for me to run this on a mac? I recently got a macbook, and I don't have my old windows one lying around. I tried running it in Crossover, but I'm not too familiar with crossover so it confused me.

Im just gunna say this....I leveled to toons to 85 with this....1 toon was from 72-85 the other 80-85. This is nice keep it up. A little buggy at times but all around a decent working bg bot. Thank you

I'm not really sure what Crossover is... if it lets you run .exe programs on your mac, then that would be your best choice.
I can only compile to .exe with autoit currently, sorry.

if you want something similar to my bot, you can use a program called "Auto-hotkey" it'll be a lot simpler, but it should produce the same results that my program does. Once you configure it.
Although I'm not sure if it runs on macs... it should...
