PC Authenticator - A free WoW Authenticator

1) been using it for 3, maybe 4 days now - absolutely NO issues... kinda is hard for me to believe that they could ban anyone for 24 hours for using this...

2) when you detach authenticator from your account you DO lose your core-hound pup... check the FAQ on authenticators... it clearly states so that once you re-attach an authenticator the pup will be back ;-P

The program generated me a US serial authentication number although I play in the EU. I attached it to my EU account, I got the pet and everything seems to be working fine. Just wondered if it will cause any future or long term problems? Like if I had to get Billing Support to remove the key, would they mind?

Sure thing. Since I didn't receive any E-mail about the suspension (which is quite odd >.>) I requested an E-mail from them and mentioned "the PC Authenticator from MMOwned" (I doubt it'll be hard for them to find it)
A little note: You should really ask Blizzard before you publish such software.. Great idea tho!

BTW - it's great you pointed Blizz to here... I really think you should also let them know about all the other bots... oh wait... this post is in Bots and Programs subforum... how convenient

ive used this for 2 days... everything seems to be ok...

but now i cant logg into my account, it says my password is wrong ...
ive already recovered my password so this is not the problem...

ive also load the serverside backup but i still cant loggin..

sry for my english...
hope you can tell me what to do

This authenticator has nothing to do with your password... you probably have some sort of virus on your computer.

Hello all, before everything, I must thank Jadd for making this app

I've read almost every post here and let me compile all this for you others...

1. Using this application will not get you banned as confirmed by Blizzard (Taken from gezus' post)

2. The application is not supported by Blizzard so be careful, you wont get any help from them if you get stuck (You shouldn't, if you use the guide).

3. If you have any problems when logging in the game like "Wrong password" then don't blame this application, it is tested and proven clear. You may also want to check your computer with an antivirus.

4. There is version both for EU and US so make sure you chose the right one.

5. By activating the authenticator you receive an in-game Non-combat pet.

6. By deactivating the authenticator your Non-combat pet is removed .

This deffinatly has to be the best program I've used regarding WoW and security. I was using the US version and it worked perfectly fine even though I'm EU! I'm so glad that a EU version has now been released as now I have peace of mind on whether it was safe or not great program!

I use this Authenticator now (against all eventualitys). Not because I'd be safer with it, but just so scammers/hackers cannot attach their Authenticator to my account
