on retail, no matter what i do, i can't get dyno jump to work

Numpad turned on?
Pressing Numpad 1 to jump instead of space?

the highest you can jump without disconnecting is roughly -55

I set it to -1000 earlier and didn't dc.. just took ages to fall !
