Blizzard REALLY hates hacks that unlock the Lua API. It's like a red flag to a bull. (This is obvious from the fact that the previous implementations of similar hacks were blacklisted within days or weeks, whereas nowadays most hacks can go for months or more without repercussions.)

However, there are also a lot more people monitoring Warden nowadays, meaning that it's impossible to detect certain hacks or bots via Warden updates alone.

So I think the answer to your question is "both", and they just really wanted to be certain that they could detect it without people noticing.

Yeah, I figured unlocking the Lua API would be looked at a lot more than say fish botting or gliding.

LuaNinja was extremely OP in Arena as well. And with their focus on the "eSports" crap now, and keeping things balanced for Arena ratings, LuaNinja was one of those things that threw a huge wrench into that.

I never did it, mostly because I don't enjoy Arena, but it was very easy at that point to write some AddOns to watch for healers casting and automatically interrupt, cancel casting and CC something when it breaks, crap like that.

This was my first ban ever =) Not mad at all, more curious what happened. I've learned now, I intend to keep two different battle.net's. One clean one with my "mains" I use for raiding. And the one I have left from the banwave, which I will continue to Glide, Fish, and .. maybe play with a next-gen LuaNinja? *hint* *hint* =)

Did you guys leave the injector tool exe running while you played? I used this on a daily basis for 1 month straight on my Paladin, which I sold like 4 days ago, the guy I sold it to hasn't been banned, he did do a server transfer, maybe that has something to do with it? I would think they would've still track him down, but yeah I used it every single day for a month. But I always closed down the injector exe right after applying it. I also had HUGE ass macros, it would've been obvious to them if the server logs them.

Kinda like that, but anyways you have to be very strict with them and if they say they can't help you and tell you to go to the e-mail forms and all that bs then you just say that you wanna speak to there supervisor/manager and ask for there name and they yeah.

Pkaa's way, CAN work, for EU or US. Phoning billing/support and asking to speak to higher management. But, it doesn't always work... Often they can be as strict as the lower support and say *we can't do anything*.

Use it as a last resort after emailing.

He's working for blizzard, tell him nothing, if he finds out you're unbanned, you'll be banned the next morning.
