    Tripple screen WoW

    Hey all,

    Just thought I would post a quick thread on a nice program I came across.
    It's called SoftTH and it allows you to run WoW (and most other games) in tripple screen mode.

    It's free, which is nice.

    If you're interested the main site is here: kegetys.net - SoftTH Software Triplehead

    I made a post in their forums for how to get it running with WoW if you need some help getting started:
    Config_Link

    Screeny: Screeny_Link

    Quick question. Is there a program that you can get to run with just 2 screens or will this one work?

    This one will work. Set the ID for whichever screen you dont want rendered to -1.

    i.e.
    deviceIDLeft=-1
    deviceIDright=1

    This would draw the the centre screen and the right hand screen only.

    If you are using an modern ATI or NVIDIA Card there is no need for an extra app to achieve multimonitor gaming, in both drivers you have an option to emulate two or more monitor (depends on the amount of vga outputs you have) as one big screen.

    and if you are so lucky to have 4 screens you can easily use the windows screen manager to arange the displays in the way you like it.

    The feature you are talking about is the stretching option available to windows XP machines only. Vista and 7 do not support screen stretching.

    Also to emphasize the word stretching. As far as I’m aware this option does not increase your in-game Field Of View. It just increases the area over which a 3D client is rendered.

    All monitors probably have the same resolution, hence no black placement border. (I hope you were talking about that border...)

    Correct
