Ok lets say blizzard will win and glider gets shutdown do you really think they will shutdown the bot in 1 day?
cause how would it be then
Blizzard wins runs to there computer shuts down the site for MMOglider and its over ? ofc not you still have the glider on your computer.
And also lets say glider looses and they will have remove the bot from the site it will probably take from 1-3 months to accutly shut down it all since its alot of paper stuff i bet and so on.
So if glider looses well atleast your prob have 1-3 months left of botting if they win..... Thats just pure Ownage!
(PS. ive also heard someway that glider isent accutly a "bot" the staff of Glider went around some rules or something) (i might be wrong)

Actually, that may be just why the court lets MDY continue to sell Glider...
If you read why MDY has claimed they should be able to continue to sell Glider you could see why. MDY Industries, LLC v. Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. et al Document 111 - :: Justia Docs
Blizzards "$1,000,000" a year that they spend on eliminating bots is not at all substantial to their 1.5 billion annual revenue. Michael Doneely, is being held liable as an individual for the 6 million, and if Glider has to be stopped, MDY will go out of business.

Pretty much, they just need to shut down the server that does the authentication for Glider and that will be pretty much the end of Glider as a bot. 1-3 months to shut down a website?? I dunno where your getting your information from but you are seriously disillusioned.

Courts give weeks before hearings in order to get all the paper work in order. If Blizz were to win, the judge could order a shut down of the server/website effectively immediately, the paper work would have already be done. You don't go into court unprepared and wait for the ruling and then start getting your papers in order.

which forums have you been reading this at??? the general consensus on all other forums say that Blizz is going to win and I think they will too. I'd be interesting to see what they've been saying

If the current judge says they can't run through the appeals, Glider will have to shutdown immediately. Merc will flip a switch and Glider will not work for anyone owning a vailid copy of it. Then MDY will go to the 6th Circut Court of Appeals to try and obtain permission to opperate throughout the appeals, if they are granted this, they will flip the switch and it will work. If they are denied, they will not be able to run Glider until the ruling which could easily be up to a year. They only have to win one, hopefully the first. Most don't think they will win the first due to the judge siding with Blizzard through the whole case, but people also ask why would he ask for MDY to explain why they should be allowed to opperate through the appeals, if he had no intent to accutaly grant this. Well, we will know the outcome of the first decsision in a couple of days.

Meh, I've been waiting with buying Glider for a while, just to see if it'll close shortly. But now even after the court I still dont know what'll happen, since the site is still up and selling em.

I've been watching this issue for almost a month waiting to see if I should buy it or not. Last night I said screw it and bought it. I'll get my money's worth before it get's shut down.
