To those of you having trouble:
Seriously, make sure you have the latest .NET framework. Just because the regular windows update says it's downloading an update for .NET framework 3.5 doesn't mean you have 3.5 - that just means it updates for all .NET frameworks up to version 3.5 This has confused me in the past.
Another thing I have noticed - turn of any addons you don't HAVE to have. Same with background programs. I used to have the occasional crash when I had all my background programs running, all my addons loaded, etc.
I have noticed specifically that questhelper, autobar, and my logitech g15 drivers seem to cause crashes more often. When I turn those off, I don't crash.
I hope this info helps someone. And thank you for this amazing fish bot!
Probably due to latency. On my realm I do 500-1000 for both and ill miss basically 1 in 500 casts
i wish there was an option to filter what kinda fish to keep or get rid of... or is that another addon?
yes there is another addon that you can get its called lootfilter
download link isnt working
link still workingman
I tried Mr. Fishit out this morning and it's still not working. Apparently patch 3.0.9 broke the application for Vista 64 bit users. Before you ask - yes - I double and triple checked that I had dot net 3.5 installed and up to date. The program worked fine up until patch 3.0.9, since then I get an error message about the fishing pole not found within fishingpole.xml or some such message.
The program detects WoW, then attempts to equip / check the pole, which is where it then fails (it even gives a message that it detected the pole already had the lure on it).
send me ur error message
best bot ever!
Thanks for the update.
