Few questions.

Is it at least functioning before it crashes? ie:Actually catching and looting fish?

If it is working properly for a few mins... Is is exactly the same ie:As soon as it catches 5 fish .. or is it random?

Are you using Injection?

Is the MrFishIt files in their "Own" folder?

It is functioning before it crashes.

It works for about 90 secs and/or 10-15 casts before fatal error that causes wow and the app to close.

I have tried it with and without. Seems to crash out later with injection.

The folder is on the desktop.

Edit: Tried 2.0 and it's giving me the same error I had earlier today for not using 3.5. When I installed 3.5 it wouldnt pop up and allowed me to use the app even though it would eventually fatally error out on me.

Not sure what the Numbers mean .. will need Nesox to answer that. However it looks like perhaps the Bot is not able to equip the right pole?. Makes sure you have a pole in your bag.

Also .. are you using Injection? .. or Oldschool?

For the 50 billionth time. This bot is "Technically" 100% detectable. However .. if you are smart, and don't abuse it. ie:Pressing go, and going to work, or bed. You should be fine. There are 48 pages to this thread, and if you take the time to "Read" them you will see countless tips on how to bot safely. Also .. if you take the time to read some of the threads in the Botting section of Mmowned. you will again find some information that pertains to safe botting. Some of them are threads dedicated 100% to "Botting safely" .......

I HAVE read this thread countless amount of times, and am not asking whether it is detectable or not, or whether it is safe to use. My question was if anyone can share their experiences of being banned/suspended.

However after going back through the entire thread it would seem that in all 48 pages, (and I can only estimate how many users per page have posted.) I can't seem to find a single post about someone getting a ban due to this bot.

Oh wait .. there is the one fellow that said he got a ban that "May" be a result of the bot. However there is no comfrimation.

Oldschool, but tried too use Injection. When it`s on i see some error about "injection failed for some reason" and than critical error.

Okay so try this.

1.) Make sure you have Lures/Pole in your bags.
2.) Fire up the Bot, and in the "options" set Pole=1, Lure=2, Spell=3.
3.) Place all 3 of those on your "Action bar" and assign them corresponding key binds.
4.) "UN-Click" Use injection.
5.) Set the rest of the options.
6.) Go to the fist tab, and fire up the fishing bot like you normally would see if that helps.

or perhaps go back a few pages, and having a look for some of my easy mode "step-by-step" fishbot guides.

There is one for injection botting a few pages back (Just after the update release)

And a few pages back from that I wrote one for "Non injection" botting. Try having a look at them, and checking if you missed a step or something silleh like that .. sometimes its the simplest little thing to fix but the human brain and all :P

Heya Narvel. Hrmm .. seems a bit .. "Fishy" to me .. :P (No pun intended) ..

Anyways. I am at a loss man, I have tried everything to recreate the error you are getting, and the ONLY time I could get the game AND the bot to crash simultaneously, was to change the Wow resolution in game whilst botting.

I am going to spend some time tonight trying to recreate some of the issues I have been reading about, and try to put together a short and sweet "troubleshooting" guide.

Other than that.. I think I will have to wait till Nesox checks in on use, and trys to clear things up from a more technical aspect. I am just a guy that got it to work.... I love the bot, and the mmowned community so I am doing my part to get everyone else up and running.

It dumps all the items and looks for one that contains "Angler" or "Pole" so that's probably why it's not working, later it uses the baseadress of the pole to see if you got a lure on that would explain why it doesnt work

So whats happening is.. the Bot can't read the Chinese lettering, would have to find a way to re write the actual code, or wait and see if Nesox releases a Chinese version.

yeah i think most people meet the same problem
but last version 3.4 everything works fine only can't use lure.

So I guess however "if" you didn't require the auto equip/lure option, you could still use the "oldschool" method of setting up keybinds to at least fish for you.. might sound silleh, but fish in Org till 450 whilst you get dinner ready, and then you can fish wherever :P

That is of course assuming that the No-Injection way of using the bot doesn't rely on the game to tell it what you have in your bags or equipped to cast and loot. I don't know this for fact, but worth a try... ?
