Faster/More Detailed OpenBot Mapping

My first post got deleted for some reason (along with all my rep T.T), so I'm rewriting the post again.

With this tip, you'll be able to map areas extremely fast and a lot more detailed then you would mapping normally.


Things needed:
1. ability to speed (just use wow emu hacker)
2. private server (in my previous thread, apoc mentioned that some private server coords are different which will mess up your mapping, so watch out which one you use)
3. openbot and innerspace (check the stickies)


Ok, first run the private server with innerspace.
While in game, run openbot.
Then attach the wow emu hacker to the game and activate speed hack.
Go to desired area and map away!!!!!
Note: Apoc mentioned that optimal speed is 33 yd/sec.

Can these mappings be taken from a Private server, and then used on a retail account? If so, awesome idea. I might have to do this right now

you mean the one in july 07 ?

anyway, this thread is useless, because the time you use to log on to the private server, you have already begun the mapping on retail . and by the time you're finished on the private (Wich will be very bad mapping data due the "speedhack"). You have a great map made in the same time on retail, or even less.

and I think there was a reason that your previous thread got deleted.

might try this out. Sounds very nice and fast, and maybe a good and fast way of making a 1-70 profile?
