It will be a long time. They need to flush out all false positives with their detection system.
Then they can implement a live detection system which instant bans, opposed to ban waves.

Probably nothing. They can minimize it. There might be new hacks after trading comes out. They don't care really care if a few hackers got away. That is just life. They don't make money. The first generation hackers pretty much got away from being ban by now.

They are still working on the nearby tracking feature for a very long time. We not going to see trading anytime soon.

Not if they require you to make some sort of short range NFC / Bluetooth paring with two devices to make the actual trade and limit you to one trade per specific person for X amount of time. You really thing Niantic is gonna release an open net trading system. Don't be naive

I have more than one device to play Pokemon go. Also I have some friends plays Pokemon go.
