Has anyone gotten ban from just using IV pokemom rename, or inventory management bot?

Just started a legit account, and while I feel playing legit is fine, the annoying part of it is that I can't easily check the IV, and also deleting hundreds of pokemons everyday after farming is so time consuming.

Since the renaming and management portion of bots work during the api change period (where bots can't function), I'm wondering if it's ok to use those bots for management and IV checking functions.

Anyone heard of cases where bans are handed out just for doing these?
