    How many of the same pokemons to keep?

    I bot in every game possible including not reading any guides about the game..

    I was wondering if there is any value in keeping more than one pokemon (highest CP) at any given time, is there any benefit for instance to keep 3x 2000CP pokemons? I'm planing on transfer to candy any possible duplicate no matter how high CP, I'm doing it correct way right?

    Anyone can throw me a quick answer or two I would appreciate your time.
