can some explain the pokemons percentage and level?

    hi,

im trying to understand what the percentage means on a pokemon. eg; 100% perfect eevee.

also the pokemon lvl? as i thought that the pokemon were just based on the player level which would allow the maximum CP.

here ive got a screenshot - my highest CP magikarp has the lowest percentage. also its transfering my highest CP and leaving me with a 16CP magikarp.

i just cant make sense of it. its almost as the CP is higher the percentage gets lower. and then it goes on to transfer my best! which it actually recognizes as my best.

also can we see the pokemon lvl in the game? or is it only with these scripts that it shows it.

    thanks

HP and attacks / feeding doesn't depend of combat points.
You can get an high value CP that totaly sucks.

ok. so the percentage is based on the max HP and attack dmg possible on a pokemon?

what does the CP contribute towards? if the HP and the attacks are separate?

    Yes.
It also counts (I guess) the max value you can get him by feeding.

yeah im still confused. there seems to be no connection of the pokemons CP to the lvl,HP and attack dmg

to understand better... would a lvl 5 pidgey at 100% be better than a lvl 25 pidgey at 40%? if not, then the bots are still going to transfer the 40% pokemon?

    If i understand correctly
of course lvl25 at 40% stronger then lvl5 at 100%

But using stardust and candies you can have lvl25 at 100%.

Gonna try to clear this up for you.
A lvl5 100% IV is weaker than a lvl25 40%. BUT, the 100% IV's potential is MUCH better. Once you've leveled the lvl5 up to 25, the CP difference is huge. And also the HP would be considerably better.
Therefore, always spend your candies and stardust on the ones with high IV rather than those with higher levels.
You can always level up, but you can't change the IV.

With that said, there's also the movesets.
Damage output of the better movesets are way better than the worst movesets.
So what you would want to do is to evolve a high IV (85+%) and check the movesets. If they are good, then level it up, if not then you'd better find another one rather than wasting your stardust/candies.

Hope this clear things up a bit.

ok thanks. yes it does clear it up a bit.

how do you level up your pokemon? eg; going from lvl 5 to lvl 25? i cant even see these levels and percentages in game. ive only seen them with the bots ive been using.

i know i can power up (increase CP) and evolve but not sure about the level part.

Leveling up = Powering up, it's the same thing.
Every time you give them some stardust/candy it level up 1 level. Get's more and more expensive.
