Eevee evolution

I'm having trouble with eevee evolution turning it to vaporeon, I named it Rainy it was a success at first, and after a few days tried it again my eevee went to flareon and jolteon and so on. i think it only works for first time. any suggestion?

Maybe the game just bugged for you, Did you name it Rainer the second time you tried to evolve ?

Rainer = Vapeoreon
Pyro = Flareon
Sparky = Jolteon

I heard that it's not working if you try back to back with the same name.

So for example: Rainer - Rainer - Pyro would be Vaporeon - (random) - Flareon
But: Rainer - Pyro - Rainer would be Vaporeon - Flareon - Vaporeon.

Not sure if this works, but that's what I read on reddit.

Only works for your first evolution. I've tested it with back to back and non-back to back.
(1) Rainer = Vaporeon
(2) Rainer = Flareon (Back to Back)
(3) Sparky = Jolteon
(4) Rainer = Flareon
(5) Rainer = Flareon

Based from what I was reading on reddit. It only works once for each type and the rest will be at random.

What does "only works once per form" mean?

then I switch to naming them Pyro to get vaporeons 3 more times

I used Sparkly and I got a Flareon.

So you named it wrong. "Sparky", "Rainer", and "Pyro"

With capitalization. It works one time only for each. If it doesn't work you did it wrong.

I got 100%eevee but very low cp. i want to make it to vaporeon goodluck to me. im going to try your way
