2nd verification to protect my account from someone that is helping?

Hey guys,

I'm letting someone boost me/help me out. I gave them my e-mail address and password. An hour later, I got a message on my phone that stated "A change in your account requires that you sign in again."

I got worried as I don't know this booster, so I decided to add a 2nd verification to my gmail. Will this affect the boosting? I'm just trying to protect my e-mail and security to my g-mail account. He's botting for me now but I'm wondering if this will kick it off automatically. I just added it.

I'm not sure but why not just cut the middle man out and bot your account yourself?

I don't really have the time to do it. He said he'd be able to help me get 80-100% IV pokemon's. But I just want to protect my security. Would adding the 2nd verification be a problem with botting/pokemon go? It would help me protect my e-mail.
