Is this "game" basically DEAD soon?

I don't even care about the bots. After playing it for 2 weeks, I'm done with it...It's no more fun.

Why I continue to play it is because when I go downtown there are a lot of people by the pokestops / fighting the gyms and meeting new people / talking to them is fun. Additionally, everyone is incredibly friendly and easy to get along with because you all have the same thing in common

The game is dying in away but it's not the bots or gps spoofing, it's the game itself. I use to see dozen of people walking on their phone but now i barely see anyone doing so anymore, as well as lure module which use to be so constant at the local pokestops, are now hardly active. Most people I talk to who use to play pokemon go, said it was because they got bored, some said it's because of the horrible server and constant freeze. It seems people are only playing the game because of the hype.In smaller towns, people are slowly stop playing.. However I believe it's still quite alive in major cities. Eventually I figure the only people who's left are nerds, playing it on the PC. lol And of course, bots.
This game will eventually becomes like any other online game app or mmo.
