i think those "accounts" getting the message are flagged and in some sort of watch-list. Not banned, "yet" but warned and we don't know when will it be safe to continue playing.

That has never been safe to bot, but now they clearly show you that your account is flagged and that you will be banned.
Anyway the hype of this game is gone, most of the players have stopped.

I have this account, gets soft banned everytime I bot, then I snipe. Waiting for it to get perm banned.

my only account that had that message was a iphone with a selfsign Pokemon Go++ 1.9_1.6r11.ipa & Discord Sniper maybe if we can narrow it down to what app or sniper is alerting niantic

I had that notification on my ipad too. It's confirmed due to my bot usage. I have been using Necro with an old api for a month now.

Yes, I'm also using iphone w/ Pokemon Go++ 1.9....maybe I bot for candy over 4~5 hours per day.
