I got unable to autenthicate I only used nox and I only got 2/3 softbans.. I never sniped. How the hell did I get perma ban? I havent play since 10days ago

1) Nox is pretty dangerous, cos everyone uses the same device info and it's pretty easy to detect.

2) There is clearly another banwave ongoing since the 0.35 update, but this time it has caught out a lot of legit players too (because people are complaining in places besides this one).

3) It might just be a server issue, but I don't personally think this is the case cos I've never had that problem due to connection issues before and my parents could log in fine with legit accounts.

4) My account got restored (assuming that it was banned and it wasn't a server issue) so wait a while and see what happens.

My fiance and i botted on our vacation (July 17 - Aug 12) i was also using NOX and snipping but she was not. I was perma banned Aug 13, she to this day still has her account. Used Pokebot ninja only, no sniping, no teleporting (just stayed in the city we were actually in) did auto-transfers, no evolves or manual pokemon/item management. she botted from 12 - 23. She would exit botting every 2 - 3 hours and login on her phone.

yeah most likely server issues or your network...mine will do that along with unable to connect try again sometimes..earlier today it was doing it to me lol nothing was allowing it to load ...i had to turn my phone off and back on and then it loaded right up ..that may help u ...i doubt it was them banning your account

I botted to lv32 before the first major perma ban-wave and stopped using bots at that point. I have however used Nox a bit since then and continued to use a Chinese IOS hack for GPS spoofing. Considering that I've aggressively taken 10 gyms everyday near where I live I've been quite surprised that I have evaded the dreaded banhammer thus far.

Today, I woke up, logged in (on legit app) and checked my squad to see how many gyms I lost overnight and then switched off the app. 20mins later I tried to login on my Chinese hacked app, but got the "Unable to authenticate. Please Try Again." login error. I tried again from my legit app and got the same problem. I assumed that meant account banned, RIP... especially since my parents could login perfectly fine on their legit accounts. However, less than 30mins later, I randomly tried again and the problem was gone, I even caught a random rattata that spawned in my house to confirm that I wasn't even soft-banned.

Does anyone know what's going on there? Did I get banned and unbanned in the space of an hour? Or was this simply server error?

tldr: I got banned and unbanned in a 1 hr period. Anyone else experienced something like this?

What is the Chinese hacked app called on iOS? Is it just the same Pokemon Go app you installed from AppCake?
And, why you have to log in in different apps (hacked and legit)?

I guess NOX equals flag for ban. That doesn't mean they will permaban you. It just means lockdown and manual review. Thus why no ban e-mail. Just have to wait and see what happens.

I have an old iPad I use for hacked app and other dodgy stuff cos I don't care if it gets rekt by a virus or something. I have an Android phone I only use the legit app on, encase device bans become a thing I don't want to be unable to play PoGo on my phone if I decide to continue post-ban.

Got the same issue with my account, but I didnt do anything for 1 week or little more. IDK what happened to it.
