By the looks of it, they are really precise about separating legit players from bot software through the API and tbh I don't think it matters if you "hard-bot" or bot really careful - the moment you start up a bot, it's just a matter of time until you find yourself permanently banned.

While an emulator is different from a bot, it doesn't make a difference in the outcome, since Nox, Bluestacks, etc. get detected by Niantic as well.
