Is the NOX emulator safe?

Are people getting banned for only using NOX emulator?

I will like to know about this too. I'm using Bluestacks since day 1 (Brazil release) and everything is ok, don't get even a softban.
I'm playing in my city, using GPS only in device (not Wifi), not teleporting, waiting to from one point to another offline if is very far away and I'm level 24, and not rushing for XP. But bluestacks is very unstable, certainly crash at 20min of play... I'm thinking of changing for another emulator, but I'm afraid from being banned.

Safe? no, nox is detectable. They know about blue stack a long time ago so it is also detectable.

Banned from only using Nox? Yes

If you read the news about the game ingress made by Niantic, they do their job banning hackers very seriously and they have a lot of experience with this before Pokemon go even released. If they catch you, they'll flag your phone! If you started from an emulator and then log on to your phone, you get flag on both device. Any other accounts you have or make on that device, they will know and keep a close eye on you if you still hack. If you only have one low level account and no bans, they probably will go a little easy on you. They don't want to lose players.
