level 35 NOT BANNED. Wanna know why?

Botted 8 accounts starting from 4-5weeks ago.

Botted the most on my main.

Used necro, haxton and few other bots.

I changed my main account name few hours before the first ban wave hit and 7/8 accounts got banned. My main didnt get banned and only thing I did differently on my main was change its name.

I believe if you change your name once you are done botting for good it could save you from getting banned

Out of fear i stopped botting and have only played on my mobile now.

I had 4 PTC accounts and 4 gmail accounts, the PTC accounts were connected to the gmail accounts.

So basically all the gmail accounts had 2 accounts linked to them (one ptc and one gmail), but only one account survived which had its name changed.

That is the only thing I had done differently on my main.

How if the account still don't have any name since beginning (pure bot from lvl 1), then login in real phone after ban wave = still getting banned of course.
I think your theory only pure luck, maybe your acc going to get banned sooner or later. But if it's still survive until next month then congrats.

just wait for it.. winter is comming. lol.. got my lvl33 accnt banned after changing its nickname, and use it on my phone only, never botted after changing name.

fyi.

you can start botting even before your character is created.

everything is tie to account. charactet or nicknames are smoke screens.

If you doubt me, try it yourself.

1. create a new account
2. start botting and wait for level up.
3. log in game create char, catch inital pokemon and set your name.
4. you will see that your character is already at the level you stopped botting, with all items abd pokemons intact.

Welp, I just stopped botting earlier today nad started playing on my phone I did this just now If I'm banned you're guys are giving me a new account.

That's what i thought too but...

Account 1: lvl 24 - After the introduce of the namechange, immediately change the nickname and didnt even bot or snipe, just login daily normally through phone and do some pokestops and claim some random pokemons.
Account 2: lvl 23 - same, changed the nickname to something else, continue to bot with human config and snipe at a interval of once every 10 minutes for about 2 days. Also login daily normally to catch pokestops and pokemons.

After a week or so (today), Account 1 have the "humbled...screen" and Account 2 have the "Failed to get data.." screen.

It will get to u sooner or later.

lol now if niantic read this they'll check all lvl 35+ accounts again and bye anyways i still think you're gonna get banned in the long run the ban wave is not yet finished

also with millions of players trying to not get banned im sure you're not the only one who tried changing name to not get banned, i've done it also and ofc many more. so you're probably lucky or you're just on the upcoming wave

Thought the same thing, untill yesterday, when I got banned Also botted the most on my main lvl 33 and it got banned last of all my accounts.
It's just a litle mind**** that Niantic wants to play with you.
