To be honest, without bots noone going to reach level 25 at the moment with high CP pokemon, even niantic know it very well but now they are focus on implement new patches and stronger anti vac ban into the new patch..
So in the end mostly account that using this kind of botting will eventually get clear up..

It is possibly tied to experience earned per day. A pokemon account seller with 400+ accounts noticed that something around 200,000 exp is the magic number. If you level too fast, they flag and ban you.
Info I got from ProBotter (400+ Accounts bottet and sold)

Others have noticed that if you have an account above 30, you are probably going to be banned EVEN IF you haven't botted for over a week. I lost 3 accounts that I haven't botted for over a week - but one account that is 31 is still around.

Most definitely is a ban. I have 3 accounts and only one of them I never used a bot on and it will login just fine, the other two will not.

So, is this a real issue or just a troll post? cause if its a troll im not so sure about the theory posted before me, reason is that it would mean that even my clean PTC Account wich didnt have playtime for maybe 2-3 weeks got banned for no reason ?

200xp/day is stupid because a 2hr mass evolution session with a lucky egg on will get you 200xp. Too risky for Niantic.
