it is indeed a perma bann, i had this bann on my first account which i botted 1 week ago, then i created 2 new accounts, 1 plyed legit, one botted after 3 days the botted account had data error = perma bann.

Everyone relax. No one got banned. The "Failed to get game data from the server" is a server problem.



The reason some accounts can access to the game and some can't is due to some servers of Niantic are down atm. Niantic doesn't have just one server. They have many and if your account is on the server that is down atm you'll have issues signing in to your accounts. Wait till they fix the offline servers.

You Sir are a idiot. it is most definitely a Permanent Ban.
Easily tested by Submitting a Ban appeal for that account. See what they say back to you :P

Not to mention they would not have included a link to an appeal form for trying to reverse a ban, if they were not actually Banning people.
