Worrying or not from Niantic bans ?

I would like to know if we should all worry about this ''ban wave'' ?

I mean we haven't got any confirmation that these were really perma ban first from niantic, if you get a perma ban there are still good bots to make another account, there is alot of drama about the ban wave but as for me I got 3 accounts level 25 that I bot & snipe for 2-3 days, none of them were perma ban but I still got 1-2 soft ban on them ! Maybe they will get ban in couple of days...

Anyway just want to know your point of view about this ban wave because on the sticky tread there are 200 pages with a very low number of real & relevant answers !

Yes they are Permaban, just its not a priority for Niantic to point to the right page that tells us officially.
Likely Niantic will refine their cheat detection and ban everyone botting eventually even those that never got a softban.

At the heart of it we are all using PGOAPI and if they really want they can ban any account that ever accessed their servers outside of the client with this API.

It seems likely if you want to avoid Softbans and maybe delay permbans than don't catch more than 1000 Pokemon per day and 2000 pokestops per day, and don't use obvious GPS teleporting like for sniping.

But really you are just postponing the inevitable.

I am not sure how much Niantic cares about botting especially if with the new Softban controls they prevent botters from pulling too far ahead of the dedicated players but I am sure they will tighten controls even more in future.
