My Perm Ban Experience

Hey all,

I found this site a week or so after Pokemon go launched and started botting on throwaway accounts immediately

I created new google accounts with sims I bought because they needed phone authentication. I could only created 4 emails per phone number and ended up creating about 30 accounts.

My first 8 accounts I logged in and created names and caught my first Pokemon then started botting. With the rest I just botted them without doing the initial Pokemon tutorial.

I have around 20 lvl 28+ accounts that I sniped aggressively on and all but one is banned... The only one that hasn't been banned yet is one I used GPS spoofing took a few gyms... I am just waiting for this account to be banned lol.

I logged into another account that I created at the same time and botted for the same amount of time the yesterday and completed the tutorial and chose a name. Today I discovered it had been banned overnight?..

I just checked some accounts that hadn't been botted since the 30/07 and they haven't been banned but I only just completed the tutorial and chose a name so I assume it will be banned by tomorrow.

All of my 8 initial pokemon accounts that I completed the tutorial on and chose a name have also been banned but I did snipe on them about 5 days ago.

So to summarise from my experience it seems that Niantic is NOT just banning accounts that have been lvled but have no username they appear to be banning accounts that have been botted since the 30/07.

I bought two new sims today and I will create some more google accounts and attempt to bot on them and see what happens. I have been using proxies on my bots since the API change but prior to that they were all botted on the same IP.

UPDATE

So as I assumed the ban wave has caught up with my 'main' botting account which I used in conjunction with GPS locally to take a few gyms and lvl a few Pokemon.

The account I logged into that wasn't banned yesterday and created a username has now been banned...

So from what I can tell they are still in the process of banning accounts. I have a few lvl 5-15 accounts that were never botted I am using them on my phone that I used to check all my botted accounts to see if they get falsely flagged as a botted account (which I doubt)

Finally the questions about the procy I used after the API change. I used ACTproxy and bought 20 'shared' proxies. about 70% of the proxies could connect to the servers and I used 2 accounts per proxy.

I haven't checked my 5yo sons lvl 22 account yet as he plays it on his mothers account but I am not looking forward to telling him he has been banned lol.

I haven't checked all my accounts yet I think I will leave a few for future testing and I will post back here ha

ive botted for weeks cycling through 3 accounts on different numbers/gmails and only botting 1 account for 8 hours at a time.never had a temp ban even but then i walk 3.6kmh my pokedex is 141 level 29.

wouldnt the catch your ip address logged into alot of accounts at once?

Initially I had about 6-10 bots on the same IP but after the API update I started using proxies with 2 per IP

Guy, does IP Ban will go away after a few hours/day? Or is it permanent that I have to always use a VPN/proxy forever with my real IP. :'(

I am also IP Ban as of now on my main account. I'm ****ing scared to open it now because I dont want it to see it perma ban.

you boted on vpns or all on one ip ?
if you boted on vpns was been they free or payd ?
cose boting 30 accounts on 1 ip is legit reason to get f!@#$ up really fast same as on public vpns where 1000 of 1000 ppls do the same thing

using 2 per IP still not good enough I think, it has to be 1/1. but Im curious about what you might find out later.

so if there's a safe way to bot, it is to do complete instruction first to one ID, then bot after that..meaning that nameless accounts with high level before completing professor's catching tutorial would be as good as dead as it might get flagged soon as it's logged on to the game.

Before perma bans was introduced I was botting pretty aggressively with haxton and necro getting around 150-250k/hr. Still botting, but using the DreamTeam config now for Necro that is super slow but more safe.

You are going to be so sad when you find out you get banned even for walking that slow

I lost quite a few accounts due to the banwave, but what confuses me the most if that my main level 36 with a bunch of 3k+ dragonites is still untouched.
That account has seen more botting time than a sunflower has seen sunlight

Well...
Started playing legit July the 10 until 25. Started botting/sniping with my main and botting on 4 other accounts. 3 in my town 1 in NY and my main in my town.
The night of the wave ban : Only my main was connected botting get softbanned @7:00am for 24H.
I hadn't bot on the 4 other acc 3 days before the waveban. The NY one and 1 in my town got permaban, the 2 other got nothing.
Yesterday, bought a pokefarmer key to try it on one of my remaining account and get softbanned after 6h botting slow...
So Yesterday i had : My main 36 Half legit stoppedbot since waveban 1 softbanned 28 1 ok account 28 and 2 permban 28.
But when i get softbanned on a lv28 acc, Niantic permbanned my main at the same time...
