My Perm Ban Experience

Start botting 3 days ago (i choose worst time to start botting), the first 2 acc for botting is getting permaban (i guess), the other 2 is safe (for now, hope it will not get caught).

the first acc banned when i use the necro bot default setting (stupid me)
the second acc banned just this morning, i guess because i bot too long

the safest bot (so far) is bot by ar1i, too bad, the stop the development right after i try it, and too bad i didn't got the time to dl the source code >.<

Hey all,

I found this site a week or so after Pokemon go launched and started botting on throwaway accounts immediately

I created new google accounts with sims I bought because they needed phone authentication. I could only created 4 emails per phone number and ended up creating about 30 accounts.

My first 8 accounts I logged in and created names and caught my first Pokemon then started botting. With the rest I just botted them without doing the initial Pokemon tutorial.

I have around 20 lvl 28+ accounts that I sniped aggressively on and all but one is banned... The only one that hasn't been banned yet is one I used GPS spoofing took a few gyms... I am just waiting for this account to be banned lol.

I logged into another account that I created at the same time and botted for the same amount of time the yesterday and completed the tutorial and chose a name. Today I discovered it had been banned overnight?..

I just checked some accounts that hadn't been botted since the 30/07 and they haven't been banned but I only just completed the tutorial and chose a name so I assume it will be banned by tomorrow.

All of my 8 initial pokemon accounts that I completed the tutorial on and chose a name have also been banned but I did snipe on them about 5 days ago.

So to summarise from my experience it seems that Niantic is NOT just banning accounts that have been lvled but have no username they appear to be banning accounts that have been botted since the 30/07.

I bought two new sims today and I will create some more google accounts and attempt to bot on them and see what happens. I have been using proxies on my bots since the API change but prior to that they were all botted on the same IP.

I have just been banned for 2 days. I botted 3 accounts: 1 was lvl 22, pokemon on that account had a lot of high IVs and CP. I used necrobot+snip for it ), now banned. The second is lvl 20 at the moment and I botted it overnight to reached that lvl but it's not banned because I wasn't using snip, I'm so lucky ).1 now lvl 18, botted 1 morning. I used necrobot+snip too but I don't know why it's not banned.

I survived the first ban wave that occur 3 days ago. but just today I got perma ban with Main account who bots and snipe, and my 2nd account who only botted but never snipe.

First account botted few days, no permaban, but after i took over a gym.. BOOM.. unable to login next morning.
now botting 2 new account + snipes, no permaban, no ip ban... for me, it seems like taking over a gym is a risk

I think they may be permabanning by deviceid or ip address. I still have one of my botted accounts, but that was the one i ran at work. My main account (WHICH I NEVER TOUCHED WITH A BOT) was banned along with 2 necrobot accounts (8787's config) and one pokeninja account (Which was only walking at 3km/h). I could be totally off base here, just my theory though

I got my second main account banned too due to using ninjabot yesterday night. nercobot account still doing fine (hopefully). I started botting about 2 weeks ago

i tried to look at the pokemons to my new account with pokeninja while necrobot is running, and then minutes later red messages comes to the necrobot and it's now ban

its running on low exp avoiding xp cap of 400k a day just botting 6hrs daily 1/5 is ban and it's my 2nd doing it will give update tommorrow

just wanna say that the first account i know which i been banned : had a username, was used by my nephew everyday on his phone and stopped being botted after the API change.

Yea it appears they are banning accounts that were botted at any time. I am not sure how aggressively you botted that particular account but if it was mass xp that may be the reason?
