It isnt patched, I just saw one gym near my neighbour subway station being Egged.

It was a highly contested gym, thus I can understand why someone will wanna egg it.

Can anyone confirm this?


If it is being cat and moused right now, (Niantic patching and someone making a work around), I would be interested in looking at this thread again.

Requirements:

Python *I use 2.7.12, can use either 32bit or 64bit but DLL differs depending on install version*
encrypt32bit.dll :: Free File Hosting - File Dropper: File Host for Mp3, Videos, Music, Documents. - 32bit python install dll required, put in root directory of api
encrypt64bit.dll :: Free File Hosting - File Dropper: File Host for Mp3, Videos, Music, Documents. - 64bit python install dll required, put in root directory of api
Depending on if you have 32 or 64 bit, you'll have to modify the script to reflect it, look at notes of script to figure it out

Step 1. Email Niantic asking them to unpatch the egg explot.

1) kudos for finding this exploit, although I doubt it will last long since it is meddling with a stream of revenue rather than benefiting solely the person implementing the hack, it is still good PR for the power of programming and the creativity of those who code.

2) Gyms in midtown manhattan (penn station, us post office, a few others nearby) were still "egged" as of 20:15 EST.

Yes you mostly wont put your main account onto the egg gym, the coins itself will be pointless as well..
Cause even urself cant choose to beat your own egg gym..
It mostly for fun and joke..
