About 'being banned'

Seeing the "Could not retrieve data" message (or something like that) when trying to enter the game and then trying to make a new account with the same new and being able to make it - It doesn't mean you're banned, PTC and Google accounts are separate and you can always use the same name regardless of ban.

What do you mean by "use the same name" ?

It has little to do with being able to make an account with the "same" name, if you get "Failed to get game data from the server" it is highly likely you're (soft) banned or possibly perm. Regardless of being able to create a new account or w/e. Check the sticky.

I got permanently banned, i never run a high xp config, always mine, with always the loc of my town, with almost all the time 5.5km/h to simulate a walking character, only thing i did was sniping, which i think resulted in my permanent ban.
How i know i got permanently banned ? I tried to log onto Pokebotninja to check if my pokemon are there, and to my surprise everything was gone, pokemon, eggs, levels everything.

So it is safe to assume it is a permanent ban.

PS : I stopped botting 4-5 days ago, and only played legit, for a couple hours a day..
