How to get max CP dragonite??

I'm wondering the same thing. I have a 200 CP dratini 100% IV. If I'm aiming for 3500 CP dragonite, is there like a CP my dratini must reach first before I evolve it? Or I can straight away evolve them to dragonite and just keep powering up to 3500 CP?

It doesn't matter if you power up and evolve first or vice versa. However you should Evolve first and check moveset before spending 100k+ stardust and hundreds of candy, moveset is more important than IV.

Nope not yet, but I'm aiming for it and will do it gradually once I get a dragonite 100% with perfect nice moveset

Hyper does 24.6dps Claw does 32.8dps

Read post #1 i already posting my configs with necrobot 0.8.5 ,

i use pokeninja.bot for upgrade cp my dragonite because i upgrade manualy its max to 3450 after use pokeninja.bot i can upgrade my Dragonite to 3500 CP now

Note: My configs only Catch pokemon and transfer it because i already lvl 40 so i just collect Stardust and Canyds for next Caps Level

if you see "did not finding pokemon in the scan offset" error. it is bot problem or fake cords.
if you see "No usable PokeStops found in your area. Is your maximum distance too small?" error. you got ip ban. Reset your modem and use only 1 acc

The moves can change again when you evolve to dragonite. You need to evolve and see what you get.

If you actually tried battling a gym with your Dragonite using Steel Wing, you'll know how weak and slow it is.

There was a theory a while back that the computer AI never attacks quickly enough(not as fast as a human spammer for sure) so the higher base damage(and slower) are better for defense, making Steel Wing favorable.
I have never been able to test this theory as the game battles are stupid and my 3400 CP dragonite with Steel Wing and Claw could be taken out by 6 medium strength pokemon by just about anyone no difference if you put a Dragon Breath one at same CP either.

I have to agree with you I never like to take gyms with a Steel Wing Dragonite it slow and not as effective for attacking.
