Yes, it does. When you bot can't find anything on map, it's most likely an IP ban which gets solved by this method.

Alternative Option for the lazy:

-Close all bots
-Create a Hotspot on smartphone.
-Connect Laptop/PC via Wifi to Hotspot
-Start desired bot
-Switch back to normal Wifi network on laptop, once bot is running
-Profit

some people said that after they switched back to normal IP they got softbanned then back at the IP ban, is it true?

It worked for me, to get around the empty map error. I can't guarantee, that it will work for everyone in every circumstance. So I do not want to discount the possibility, that "some" people do get rebanned.

necrobot does not run while I was using VPN, keep saying I have 2factor enabled or crashes immediately.
when I use a working bot while using VPN then disconnect the VPN my normal IP is still banned. the bot keep unbanning softban and if i restarted the botit wont show anything on the map again just like before.
