Dear Community,

We have just released client version 1.018!



This release brings in an exciting new feature, sniping!

The Pokemon sniper can be found under Player -> Sniper, in the side panel. This feature will have its own subscription due to two primary driving factors:

1) First and foremost, by definition, sniping is not a bot feature in any way. PGBot "premium" rank, as it stands, provides access to premium bot features. Since sniping is not a bot feature, it makes sense that it would not be included as a premium bot feature. Sniping is an isolated concept from botting.

2) This feature adds additional strain to our servers. If we let everyone use this feature for free, our servers would need an upgrade immediately. This cost money, therefore it seems justifiable to make this feature have its own premium rank.



This new feature will bring two new ranks in addition to premium; Sniper, and Super Premium (Premium + sniper + 5 tabs extra - so 10 botting tabs)

With that being said, of course we will be giving out free trials of our new Sniper rank!

Major Notes

[General]

- Updated the walker so it will no longer get stuck if there are two identical way-points in your path one after another

- Hitting the 'update walker' button whilst already traversing the path will no longer reset your character back to the start, instead you will walk back to the start.



[Pokemon Catching]

- Catch out of range Pokemon has been improved - it should work better now.



[GUI]

- Pokemon sniping is now here! Find the sniper in the side panel under Player -> Sniper

- Added a PokeDex viewer in the side panel under Player -> PokeDex

- Added a new right click option when you right click the map: "Walk Here", this will walk at the speed specified in Tab Settings, to the point that you click

- You can now favorite/unfavorite Pokemon at Player-> Pokemon.

There is now a checkbox to not transfer favorite Pokemon as well, at Settings -> Tab settings -> player.
There is now a checkbox to not evolve favorite Pokemon as well, at Settings -> Tab settings -> player.


Minor Notes

- PTC Login should fail much less often now

- More warnings were added to the bot, such as warnings for a full item bag, a full Pokemon inventory, and Pokemon retry catches.

- More console logs were added to the bot, such as player Pokemon interaction (the logs now tells you what happened whenever you transfer, evolve or power-up a Pokemon)

What makes it different from the other bots that does sniping?

Are there anybody that have tested this function yet?

Sorry for the queries, i would like to understand more on this before deciding if i should actually pay for the sniping function

I can't use the 1.08 because the bot is not transfering my pokemon and discarding items, also its not evolving so it just stacks pokemon and i get full inventory in 1 hour or so and then forced to transfer by hand.

Also the sniper is buggy, it snipes the pokemon you select (sometimes, not always), then it returns to location and stops catching/robbing.

I sniped like 10 pokemon and i got softbanned, but so far i can still use my account.

You should not snipe while running the bot, there's a failsafe that will disable your settings, but they wont be enabled back when you're done sniping, that's why it stops.

We use the safest method: teleport, find the pokemon (takes less than a sec) and teleport back to the location instantly. Then it will catch. So the time you teleported is minimum.
There are currently 400 users active with the sniper, so I assume it's tested enough, yes. It has it's bugs, but it works 90%. (bugs as in, don't use it while running, and mr mime/farfetchd snipe will never work somehow).

currently in full Mad mode, im about to lose my sniping trail so ive been trying to find a farfetched for the past 2 hours (the only regional i need for that account) and they never come up, when they do (2-3 times) they arnt even there... God Damn

- Seems to be alot of false Coods
- Fix pokedex (so its more clear which you have and dont)
- Input a limit to pokemon per X time (avoiding soft bans)

Then you had a soft ban or it just failed. I assume it's already working again for you.

We have just released client version 1.019!



Major Notes

[General]

An Inactivity timer has been added to hopefully prevent any random stops. The bot should restore itself now.

The automatic transfer feature has been tweaked. It should work better now for everyone.

We now support CP & IV filters at transfering!

So for example you can now say that you want pokemons of atleast 500cp and 50+ IV. You can combine now.

The bot has Pokestops prioritized above catching Pokemon now. So it will focus on a pokestop first, before doing the pokemon.

The bot will now stop or walk really slow temporary, when there are atleast 2 catchable pokemon, or catchable pokemon with a pokestop, nearby.
So you will not miss out on any pokestops or pokemon anymore. Because when there were alot of pokemon, the bot would miss-out on a few and sometimes even ignore the pokestops. That is all fixed now. This is also more human like.


[Pokemon Catching]

The bot should no longer try to catch more than 1 pokemon at the same time, since that was causing alot of fails. It will now only focus on Pokemon 1 by 1.
[GUI]

The log will now tell you if you've successfully connected through a proxy.

The map is now 9 times as large as it was!

The map is now zoomed in more than before (since its larger, we can afford to zoom in a bit and still fit more on the map).

The side panel and log are now collapsable, giving you more room to see the map when collapsed.
We are going to implement a full help system into the bot.

We have added a help button to the tab settings page for now, and will expend the content of it with every release. Our goal is to have a full 100% explanation page for all of our features and settings, eventually.

Added a new tab in the side panel under Settings -> Location
This allows you to change location (longer distance) and view hot spots while botting.

The sniper in the side panel will now disable the "Snipe" button for Pokemon that you have already sniped
Note: This may take up to 30 seconds to refresh and reflect the Pokemon that you have already sniped


Minor Notes

[General]

Pokestops will now be shown at the startup to make path generation easier.
Bot will handle invalid input by user better.
The sniper feature has received a few improvements.
The console will state your proxy information again when you login with a proxy. This message was suddenly gone since 1.016.
