This is a notice that I will not update PokeSniper2, and related, for API 0.51 because of recent developments in the reversing community.

As you may know already, an integral part of a Pokemon Go API is hashing of the anti-cheat data, without you do not get a response from the Pokemon Go servers and, furthermore, get banned.
Reversing of the hashing algorithm for version 0.51 has been successful, but the actual hashing algorithm has not been made public.
Now the people that have reversed the algorithm are using it to sell a hashing service: Asking people to send their device info to their servers, they hash it for them, and then reply with the hash of the data.

PokeSniper2 is completely free and I am not asking for any donations, so I can not, and will not pay 370 EUR a month for a group hashing service key.
I also will not require people to each buy their own monthly hashing service subscription for something free.
I believe that reversing the API should continue to be a community effort for everyone, as it has been before.

I can not condone keeping the updated API secret, to be sold as subscription service by people that are already selling a complete bot they require themselves an updated API for anyway.
And regardless of whether the API is public or kept secret, Niantic will continue updating their encryption going forward, breaking the hashing service just the same.
