crappy method.
woke up
logged into account stationed in San Francisco, CA
got coordinates of rare pokemon
opened up GPS, put in the coords, clicked GeoCode and clicked ok
waited for pokemon to spawned, clicked on pokemon
capture screen appeared, went back to GPS
put in my original SF coords, clicked GeoCode, and clicked ok
went back to capture screen, captured the pokemon
he broke free and ran away, knew it was a sign of a soft ban, couldnt loot any poke stops, most likely banned for 2 hours, gg.

Can anyone test the range of this method? like in miles or kilometeres? maybe whatever this range you're sniping its already not SOFTBANNABLE if you teleport. Get me? :P

Tell me what i did wrong or different in my steps then.
Its a really easy process to do going by OPs step so its kind of hard to screw up on

i tested some long jumps from NY, Central Park to Los Angeles, Santa Monica Pier (about 4000km) and it worked.

It doesn't soft ban. It only soft bans if you're doing it wrong.
Understand how the game works:
PKGO doesn't check your position unless you: click a PokeStop, or ATTEMPT (throwing the pokeball) to catch a Pokemon.
Therefore, their is NO limit on how far it can go.
I'll shoot one more example..
1. My current co-ordinates are 40.770648, -73.974755 (Central Park).
2. I want to snipe a Pokemon at 34.008930, -118.497810.
3. Standing in Central Park, I open Virtual Location in Nox (Or Control + 3).
4. I input the co-ordinates 34.008930, -118.497810, click OK. Don't close the Virtual Location window.
5. Your character will teleport. Once you've teleported, you can move, but you CAN'T interact with PokeStops or you WILL be softbanned.
6. Once you find the Pokemon (if you're using discord people usually give 100% accurate spots), click it so the encounter window pops up.
7. BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING press Control + 3 (Virtual Location) and put 40.770648, -73.974755 (your original spot) and click OK. Close the window.
8. Catch the Pokemon normally.
9. Once you get past the "Caught!" window, you'll be back in your original location with the Pokemon caught.
There's no other way to explain this. I've tested it on 10+ devices and it DOES NOT SOFT BAN. There is no limit on range. I caught Pokemon from Asia, Europe, Australia all from North America in less than 10 minutes.

Have someone an answer for my question?

Edit: This function is buggy now with the map where the pokemon was caught, but I'm worried if they check the logs sometime in the future and there you caught different Pokemon in different places very far apart in a close time, so they can you ban afterwards.
I try to play Pokemon so close to humanlike as possible, so I'm asking.
Have you an idea which map location will be stored if catching the Pokemon with this method?

It'll show your original co-ordinates.
