I'm not going to remove the link myself, but you may want to be cautious posting a video that could be used to identify you (such as an email address, or character list)

Something to try, use the shift+right click+launch as another user method to see if you see the same issue. You can also try running in fullscreen windowed instead of what looks like fullscreen.

I had a couple of typos. I updated the shortcut text.

And to explain what it's doing, it opens cmd prompt with your limited user, it changes to the proper drive (as the default is your OS drive, usually "c:"), and then it runs the poe executable. My typo had it changing to the wrong drive and then changing the directory to the poe executable, which obviously isn't going to work very well. The updated text should work.

recently got a new computer; switched from windows 7 to windows 10; i followed all the old directions; can get windows running on limited user, however when I try to open poehud with the folder thats denied, it keeps saying "windows cannot access specific device / path / file, i may not have the appropriate permissions.

however im running on the administrator account, and only the "BOT" account has deny. anyone know what im missing; every other user / admin has full access / write

NVM got it working from Post #1.

Now there is a problem that neither DXTORY nor RTSS can limit POE fps. Vsync active does limit it to 70 even the refresh rate of the VM is 60 ^^.

Any ideas around that? (i already tried to run those programs as limited user at the same time - nope!)

Start task manager, click details, look at poe's exe and make sure the user running it is the limited user.

This is 2 weeks late, but the shortcut has a command to remember the password in it, so you only have to type it once.

Is this safe or are people getting banned even with this?

I haven't heard of anyone getting banned for using this method with poehud unless they were doing something wrong (usually running poehud as the limited user and poe as the admin, which is exactly backwards). As long as you do it right, you're pretty safe. But if you can't afford to lose your account, don't cheat.
