Few tricks to get your money back from scammers

Hey guys i used to be a trade moderator for this site. And my job is getting rid of the scammers on this site and work with few more other sites to completely take them out the trade section business. The guys that i helped to get their money back all worked out just 1 but that was just before i quit and did not have anymore time to invest in the investigations. I hope i gave enough info about my self so let's start learning how to get your money back.

    Facebook method:

An easy method to find out the person facebook is by using their paypal info or something that got his email. And just copy paste it in facebook search. If the email is linked to a facebook account it will show you the person. I will show you more tricks what to do with the email but for now just talking what you can do with facebook. What i see a lot of people doing wrong when they found the person. Is by using all their ammo they got and not having a Plan B if that person ignores you.

Tips when you found the person on facebook:

    1. The first thing you need to do when you found the person on facebook is by saving the page of his friends and info. And anything that you can find there from him and friends like pictures etc before he takes it down. Or even deletes it like i had with few people that thought by hiding that it will blow over.

    2. 90% of the scammers i dealt with were guys. So you want to make a facebook that got a picture of a girl. And try to get a picture on who the guy is. Is he young, is he single etc. With a guy that got a gf you want to use a picture of a girl with her mother in the picture i will explain you later on why. And when making a name make the last name same like the scammer or his gf last name or from one of his friends in friendlist same last name. To make it less suspicious and don't go for pictures with models etc. It has to look casual but also tempting to accept.

    3. (To make a new facebook account you need an ip/vpn that is not public or facebook will ask for your phonenumber) Now that your facebook is made start making use of element of surprise. The scammer got no idea that you are after him and start adding friends he got. So when you add the scammer his facebook he will most likely accept you because he sees you got mutual friends. If the friends pm you who you are just ignore it. Don't waste time with them at the moment. You will have a lot of his friends accept you without asking you anything.

    4. Now do the same with the scammer his facebook add him. If he asks you who you are tell him that you just started your facebook and are friends of one of the guys that he got in his friendlist or a family member. I barely have them ask my anything when they see i got mutual friends.

    5. When you are friends with the scammer on facebook. You need to act quick because sometimes you don't have much time. And start taking pictures he got of his home, places where he goes etc. And read through the posts see if you find any valuable information like telephone number of him etc as a lot of them have it attached to facebook for security reasons.

    6. If you got picture of his home etc you can use this addon in firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fxif/ for geotagging as most phones got the option turned on to show the location the picture was taken. So you can pinpoint the scammer where he is. Trick is to get as much info about him before you approach the scammer. So when you do approach him that you can make give him a hard time to try to sleep at night because that you were able to get all this information about him and that you are ready to go public with it.

    7. Before you approach the scammer you need to play a situation in your head which way you want it heading. Do you want to be your self and tell the scammer "Hey i am the guy you scammed. Pay up the money or i go public with your personal information." What i always do is impersonate people because as trade moderator i would get in trouble my self if he contacted the site. Let your fantasy run wild as at this moment you are in power and can let it head anyway you want. And i impersonate most of the times a private detective that is friends with the victim that got scammed. And that he contacted me to track him down and get the stolen money back.

    8. Now you are in chat with the scammer they will most of times tell you that you are talking to the wrong person or that they did nothing. Just lay down the evidence for him with the information you were able to find about him. And tell him the time he got to pay it back and the steps that will follow. To tell you few steps that i told without going into illegal stuff as what i always think you need to fight fire with fire. But use your imagination on the options you can give him. And don't be insulting him or something try to act as cold as possible it's way more scarier. A lot of them get pissed off and say stuff like. And that is good as they will most of times admit of the scam and screenshot the conversation.

Day1. Your private information etc will go public for the others to see and abuse.

Day2. You will start contacting his friends and family and inform them what you are doing in your free time. (And that is stealing from innocent people with proof ofcourse to back it up)

Day3. A spam will get launched inside facebook to show up on every of your friends timeline about this incident and screenshotted the conversation we are now having as proof of you admitting to steal from innocent people.

Day4. Tracking family members and emailing, approaching on facebook and calling them up to inform them. And up to you how far you want to go with it like finding out where he works to call up his boss or his school(The friends like step 2 will work very effectively to use his family and friends against them. And you want to play the victim role with them and try to make them understand you and that you rather have not contacted them and bother them but that the scammer left you no other options.

    9. Most of them will crack when they read this and tell you stuff like "You know what you can't do me anything anyway but i don't have time for this so here is the money back."
But you got some diehard guys that just taunt you, insult you and laugh at you. Don't let it get to your head because what they need is just a little push to convince them what you are capable of. Once step 1 and 2 hit they will pay back. Because you start to mess up with their social and turning their world up side down.

After day 2 i contact them again and tell them if they want me to proceed with the steps because it will not be just 4 days. Day5+ will get even worse and tell them what would happen just it's leaning more towards illegal stuff so i can't post it in the guide. But i would say use your imagination.

    Finding information about the scammer:

    Email:

If that person scammed you and he is member on the site. I would contact a moderator if he can give you the email he signed in on the site. With the proof of the person really scamming you. Because you can't just contact a moderator and demanding an email. Some simple steps to get your hands on the email. There are more ways but just posting the ones on top of my head:

    1. Paypal information contains email

    2. Signing in on the site with email

    3. If you manage to find facebook account but need email. Just make a yahoo account and add facebook accounts to it and it will show you email of that person his facebook.

    4. Scammer matching skype info on other site. Contact the moderators there with proof and if they can give you the scammer his information he signed in on the site. As you are trying to warn others for him.

    5. Social engineering his friends to give email

Here are some simple tools i have been using to reverse email search. And acquire more information about the scammer before contacting.
www.emailsherlock and www.pipl.com just write the scammer his email in the search. And it will check all the social medias etc if it's registrered there. And google search on the email will show up sometimes a lot of stuff too.

    Skype:

When you got the scammer his skype put it in skype resolver like this one https://mostwantedhf.info/ it will show up an ip that the skype person is using and the history of the ip's that have been used on that name. Next thing you want to do when it shows up an ip is to go to What Is My IP Address? IP Address Tools and More and write in the search the ip. It will show you location of the ip and you need to check for a few things.

    1. Is the ip dynamic or static (static means it's an ip that can't be changed or at least easily if it's not a proxy)
    2. Organization and services: Sometimes it will show up stuff like microsoft or proxy. It means that the person is behind a proxy. With microsoft as organization it means that the person in question is lucky as some people get skype ip from skype so it does not show up their real ip. And with organization you don't recognize do a google search see if they provide proxies/vpn etc.
    3. Look at the country the scammer is in and the range of where the ip located him. With geotracking we did above you are able to pinpoint him. And if you got his name do a phonebook search in that country to get his address to confirm your own findings.

Is the scammer behind a microsoft proxy then i would suggest impersonating a potential buyer and approach him. Make it look like you want to buy something from him lure him in. And tell him stuff that you sent him payment. He will tell you that you did not yet. And just give him the link you get from these guys How to find someones IP address and tell him to click the link as it contains screenshot of the payment. When he clicks the link you will have the scammer his ip for further fun.

I will continue adding more to this guide when i have a bit more time. But i hope i can help at least few people that lost their money to scammers and would like to get it back.

Things i have done to scammers to name a few to annoy the hell out of them for my amusement before taking it serious: have pizza's get delivered every 5 minutes at their place. Making orders with the information i have of them and get it delivered to their house like sand etc. To get it dropped off at their door and the scammer has to pay for it. (just childsplay) And for the bigger cases getting in private detectives and placing them outside his house to make pictures of him when he comes out etc. To send it to him to give him a hard time to sleep.
