I am not into lore, but I just cant imagine a Worgen :-) Goblin seems pretty cool (aint saying worgens dont, just cant imagine them as a playable class)

I'm also on that the masks doesn't hint us that goblins and worgens would be playable. As a starter, how would worgens look with gear? Wouldn't fit in at all. Also, what faction would they join? None, they've got no allies as horde/alliance, and they got no reason to join any of em. So i'd just cross over that worgen will be playable.

And about goblins, sure that sounds more like it. They do as mentioned compete with gnomes. But still, goblins is neutral and will most likely remain neutral. You can find Goblins in Booty Bay, Ratchet, Gadgetzan and such. They are and will most likely remain neutral. So i do think these masks is just for fun or other use, but not a hint that they will be playable in the next expansion, sorry.

And one note, in TBC they added Blood Elf and Draenei as playable races, and in WotlK they added Death Knight, a Class not a Race. So nothing tells us new races will be playable in next expansion either. Not any new classes either. I can't predict anything of course, but there have been alot of discussions in the forums about a new heroic class: Demon Hunter. Blizzard did aswell look at it, and mentioned somewhere that they consider adding Demon Hunter in the next expansion.
