"Hey guess what: I killed a god last night. I guess that makes me a hero."
"Really? Me too. I just did it this morning!"
When a third guy comes in pointing at the whole bunch of guys near the Orgrimmar bank:
"So have I and the other 634523985720986 guys there."

really? the gods of warcraft are no diffrent than the "gods" of our ancient times they were killed one on one by heroes, the meperors who claimed themselves as gods behind the powers of armies claimed them selves as gods.

dont say "oh but these gods have powers" so do we, we run around summoning beats from the nether, bringing our heroes back to life, apparating fire balls from thin air, by definition of a god we are already gods controlling the elements.

also the maelstrom has plenty to offer if you knew wow lore you would know sargeras tomb is there, the naga live they're(and we know they are still alive they are attacking northrend too), there are more troll cities (and blizzard LOVES troll cities), there will likely be a horde chain quest for the trolls to rediscover roots in they're home land, venture co. would be abusing the islands resources on these islands, King will want revenge on the naga for helping the black dragon flight to imprison him. the pandaren live in the maelstrom, not to mention the murlocs who are slowly being accepted as a intelligent race could also open up. this list goes on there is so much to go for in maelstrom.

on the other hand the emerald dream has a POSSIBILITY, although as you should know, the emerald dream is nearly impossible for non-druids to enter it. its the world of azeroth before the mortal races, hence the ability for druids (nelfs where immortal for those of you who didn't know), so humans and all that may not be welcome

i hope that the maelstrom gear is better looking than WotLK gear. I hate the painted tree with fur, goat skulls, and chickens look.

They need gear that does not all look the same, personally i loved the TBC gear.

remember we're dealing with smart people when it comes to blizzard.
many people said what you guys were saying when wotlk was coming out.

Don't complain about a swirling pool of water. Knowing Blizzard, they will probably add ANOTHER land area, another 10 levels, and MAYBE a new class and/or race. Plus new bosses, more instances, better spells, and such

don't worry about it. i think its coool.

if u don't like it, then stop playing?

unfortunately they will not shut up, this happened to the DKs and blizzard had to entirely recreated them to shut the nubs up.

the producer of wow has already stated that there will not be a new class straight away, but he did say it is possible for a new race to show up.

i bet you in a few weeks after blizzcon the top article will be the official announcement on Cataclysm being Maelstrom. Blizz made alot of headway with next-gen mmorpgers in wotlk, i can see them doing something big to hook the audience for good (atleast another 5 years) and possibly build us into the idea of moving to their next gen MMO
