    General Programs - MMOwned - World of Warcraft Exploits, Hacks, Bots and Guides Is great for posting off topic programs. However this is aiming more towards the actual programming of those apps. Hopefully this will get alot more quality programs in the wild for users to experiment with, and also much more improved ones that are currently available.

    I can tell by the outlook of the community that it would be used. Just doing a smart grouping of each category is basically the key to making it work. There are highly used languages... and not so highly used languages. (Perl, COBOL, Pascal, etc) They should be grouped together under 1 general misc language forum.

    C#, C++, VB need to be in separate forums, or sub-forums. However you choose. Most web programming can be grouped together, aside from PHP and ASP.

    If it's been shot down, I apologize for the suggestion. Feel free to lock/delete the thread if you want. :P

    I agree with this.

    But, some of it should not be open to leechers, or non-donators etc because it would require more server load to run.

    Server side (PHP,Mysql,ASP, Perl, Python)
    Programming (C#, C++, .NET, ...)

    Sounds good to me. So long as the programming languages (C#,C++,etc) stay in seperate subforums. Since the syntax and overal structure of each is too different to mix and match.

    Perhaps MMOwned should make a different forum altogether on a differnt website so no load?
    Like x10hosting for example...
    One banner and you get 10gb of space and 100gb of bandwidth I thinks

    j9, 100gig would vanish in well under a month. MMOwned runs on dedicated servers for a reason.

    As to the topic, I wholeheartedly support this idea. And yeah, something like client side/server side/c (covering all c languages)/basic (covering all basic languages)/other (covering all other non-web languages) would be the best way of doing it imo.

    Admins.. Accept this idea already! ><

    I am in need of somewhere to post my PHP questions...
    AND, this can also provide a way to get less leechers, as those who
    are good with programming can also help out!
    FOR A MOMENT, NOTHING HAPPENED. THEN, AFTER A SECOND OR SO, NOTHING CONTINUED TO HAPPEN.
