Since the emu section got deleted then moved, a lot of people have posted guides / things that aren't theirs without quoting or referring to the original poster.

Can there be reprecussions for this

But I'll support the idea of punishing them for doing stuff like that.

Enforcing this idea could be a pain in the as* for an admin team, unfortunately. Not everyone remembers something posted before.

How about this? If you find the post on another forum (or an earlier thread on this forum) you PM the admin with a link to the earlier article and they can deal with it as they see fit? Saves all the childish "Seen it before, n00b" crap that no-one wants to read, doesn't it?
