A way to help stop leeching and get more active people.

You should make it so they have 10 rep or like 10 posts until they can get links to Downloads. Just a thought.

It would only get more spam posts on the site. Stuff like "Thanks!" and "Great post".

its 5 to get out of leecher status, 10 is too much.

Yes. I was able to download like crazy before I gained 5 rep. I like your idea though.

I guess most leechers would just continue leeching after the 10 rep.
