when a thread gets closed, does your post count get subtracted?? because i believe that happened to me

no closed threads do not reduce post count, unapproved posts remove post count as they are deleted. Deleted threads do the same. Wrong section however, should have been asked in the off topic section(near the bottom of the main forum)

don't worry about posts or rep, just be helpful around the site and learn as you go. double check specifically you are in the right area for what you want help with, shoutbox is a good tool.
